And as I was digging I felt it fall into my mouth,
Faceted, heavy in its silver shell
As if fallen from the necklace of a woman far above me.
Tired fingers grasp the object but not its meaning;
Just because it's raining jewels
Doesn’t mean you should put away your umbrella.
